International Literacy day was celebrated in DAV Budhpur.
On this occasion speech contest was held in both hindi and English . Topics related to literacy were given like importance of literacy in our life, in our personal growth and in the country's development.
Ms Lata Rana and Ms Vandana Gupta judged the contest . Lata mam gave a few tips to the participants like smile on the face , not to cram or memorize the speech but to read books, be a good listener so they get new idea and that they can speak spontaneously.
Vandana ma'am appreciated the efforts of all the participants and cleared the difference between Literacy and education. (साक्षरता और शिक्षा में अंतर). She also gave a few tips to the students to become a better speaker
